Enable optional Device Administrator
Use Android’s visible administrator consent screen to make accidental removal harder and report deactivation. It can still be removed in Android Settings and is not Device Owner mode.

Uninstall and app restrictions
A normal APK can be uninstalled and permissions can be revoked. Strong restrictions require explicit Android Device Owner provisioning, often on a freshly configured device.

Can KKHS Kids be installed remotely?
No. A legitimate family-safety app requires physical access to the authorized Android device for installation, disclosure, pairing and permissions.
Can a child uninstall the standard APK?
Yes. Android lets a device user revoke permissions or uninstall a normal app. KKHS reports offline/stale status, while uninstall blocking needs explicit managed-device/Device Owner setup.
Does KKHS need root access?
No. The current APK supports Android 8.0 and later without rooting. Features depend on Android and manufacturer settings.
Can parents read private social chats?
No. KKHS displays visible notification-derived activity when Notification Access is enabled; it does not extract private app databases or intercept encrypted chats.
Will location always update continuously?
No app can honestly guarantee continuous exact GPS. Android battery, signal, background access and manufacturer restrictions affect timing and accuracy.
What happens if permissions are revoked?
The affected data stops syncing. The parent dashboard will show stale/offline information, and the child app explains which permissions are active.
